Tammy T. Chang, MD, PhD is an Associate Professor of Surgery at UCSF. She attends on the Acute Care Surgery Service at UCSF Medical Center, and she directs a basic science laboratory focused on liver tissue engineering. She currently has NASA- and NSF-funded projects investigating the formation and function of liver organoids in microgravity.
