BRASH 1901 Solicitation Now Open

On Dec. 17, 2018, the Translational Research Institute for Space Health (TRISH) at  Baylor College of Medicine released a call for proposals via NSPIRES. The solicitation, Biomedical Research Advances for Space Health (BRASH) 1901, has six new areas of interest:

*Ophthalmic imaging as a Means of Assessing Overall Health
*Physical Health Surveillance of Astronauts on Deep Space Missions
*Enriched Spaceflight Environments for Behavioral Health 
*Augmented Medical Knowledge and Guidance on Deep Space Missions
*Personalized Detection of Space Radiation-Induced Biological Damage 
*"Just in Time" Medications

There are two steps to the TRISH grant application process. The deadline for the first phase of applications is mid-February. For phase 2, successful Step 1 proposers will be invited to complete a more detailed proposal.
